Ever feel like you could be going places, just need a hand to get started?
Here at The ELT Skills Academy we know we couldn't have succeeded in building our business alone.
We have been fortunate to have mentors and lots of support, but know this isn't always true for everyone.
To support people who might not have the same opportunities we have had, we run regular scholarships and volunteer our time on a weekly basis.

Pay It Forward
Each year we gift free scholarship places on each of our courses.
This opportunity is open to anyone who:
- is committed to building their own freelance teaching business right now.
- values community and supporting others.
- is intending to "pay it forward" in their own way in the future.
- is willing to share their business building story with our community in the future. This could be a vlog or blog post, social media take-over or another form if you have something in mind.
Upcoming scholarships will be announced via our social media channels or you can sign up to our mailing list to be among the first to hear when they are released.

Sharing our successes with our community in meaningful way has always been a part of the business we dreamed of building. Our scholarships are a big part of that.

When released, you will be sent a link to a short application form and deadline details. Simply complete the form. telling us how you plan to Pay It Forward if your application is successful.

Our Founder, Claire, is a big believer in the benefits of volunteering for everyone involved. She currently volunteers teaches refugees English with RefuAid and participates in the University of Exeter Career Mentoring Scheme.
If you are looking for a way to develop and improve your skills, gain more experience as an online teacher, improve your CV or just give something back volunteering can be a good place to start.
