Things We Recommend

There are so many choices available to us now, sometimes it can be hard to even know where to start, let alone to be sure that we make the right decision.

This page gives you information on the products, tools, services, courses and much more that we have found useful whilst building our business.

Everything recommended here has been tried and tested by us. If we didn't love it, we don't recommend it.

If you want to ask us more about anything head on over to our free Facebook group, we'd be happy to help.

Tech Tools That Made Building My Teaching Business Easy

Acuity Scheduling

This was the first tool we invested in when our freelance teaching business started growing.

We hate admin, so having a tool that runs our scheduling, automatically send out terms and conditions, payment links and links to video calls for lessons was very much worth the investment.

Setting up Acuity also saves a lot of time each week, freeing up time for more teaching hours.

This changed the game for our business!

Kajabi is our web host, online course platform, email manager and so much more!

We have previously built 50+ online courses using lots of different platforms and tools and hands down Kajabi is the simplest to use. We highly recommend it.

If you are thinking of growing your business or creating online courses have a look at what Kajabi has to offer.

Making it easy for people to pay you is a must for building your business. This is especially true if you will be working online only.

Using a reputable software gives your customers confidence, demonstrates your professionalism and protects the reputation of your business.

Stripe is one of the biggest online payment software platforms in the world. It is easy to use, powerful and flexible.

HubSpot Academy

It would be fair to say that we knew absolutely nothing about marketing or running an online business when we first started.

Then, once we started learning, we were quickly overwhelmed by just how much there was out there and sometimes it is hard to tell what is reputable.

The free courses on HubSpot Academy are a great place to start if you want to grow your business.

The Novelry

This technically is not anything to do with teaching, but I know many of you dream of writing your own novel.

Our Founder, Claire, finally completed the first draft of her first novel and it would not have been possible without Louise Dean and the wonderful courses and community she has created at The Novelry.

If you dream of becoming a writer have a look at her different courses and levels of support.
